A cozy sandbox adventure
Story
Rombo, a humble terraforming robot, is the last remaining unit at his outpost. Humans were supposed to arrive 50 years ago, but they seem to be missing.
During a terrible storm, Rombo becomes the last surviving technology on this lost outpost. What will he do with his newfound freedom?
How to Play
Explore as far as you can. → Gather items. Fight (optional), collect, quest, and farm. → Craft and build. → Upgrade and advance.

- CREATION: Rombo can build from anything it collects as it travels the giant, diverse world, from new terrains to custom biomes.

The Team
Rombo was just a little idea and some sketches by Lauren in 2014, when they had too much time on their hands. When Dave and Lauren started talking shop, they realized they had complimentary skillsets and started to build Rombo in 2023, making huge progress towards a first playable milestone. This game as at the heart of Black Heart Games development. We might make detours to chase down a game jam or proof of concept (see Rat’s Revenge and PlinkIdle), but Rombo is our primary focus.
